We did it! On September 18, 2013 we got our letter inviting us to be delegates to Athens, Greece for the International Convention in June 2014. Needless to say, we are VERY excited.
Just found an amazing post by a friend on how to pack for a month using a carry-on bag, which has inspired me to try to do the same, especially since we won't be gone for that long!
Stay tuned for updates and details. We selected a Greek island cruise either before (first choice) or after the Convention. So now we are waiting to hear back from the travel agency before we can finalize other plans.
I found two pictures to share. The first is a view from one of the hotels on the recommended lodging list (which we may or may not get). I hope they are showing a public area and not an inaccessible private balcony!
