First attempt at making jewelry

Six of us got together last Saturday and had a lot of fun making jewelry as gifts for our Greece trip. The first picture is my training session. I did one pearl earring after watching one be made and a sister already wrapped wire around the stones and had me turn them into earrings.
Here is the first set I made all on my own. I like clunky jewelry as I get older, so loved this! The little round beads are actually quite beautiful with green and gold hues to break up the amber color.
This is my favorite one. Unfortunately the picture does not do justice to the bright blue beads, which are actually very pretty and the darker beads are quite stunning!
My sister made this at the very end. It was her first time making jewelry too!
And here are some bookmarks I'm making for little boys. Can't take credit for the idea, but aren't they too cute? The other end just has a big brown bead. Definitely making more of these!!!
One of the sisters is going to have all the little girls in our hall over to make bracelets for other little girls. How cool is that?

I know we can't take enough for everyone, but hope to make a dent anyway. We are also going to get business cards and bookmarks and Jim is going to get some pens. If anyone has other neat ideas for little gifts that are easy to make and don't cost much, please do tell!!!!!
